Christina from Chicago

This will be a narrative of my life in Chicago. For now it's a work in progress/experimental stage. I want to post pictures of different parts of Chicago, and write about different places. One month might be solely on Cafe's around Chicago, or Pastry shops, or underground book stores. I was born and raised in Chicago, so I will give you the worst, and the best of the city I call home.

Wanna holla? Got a question or request of what you want to see in Chi Town

I’m at Caribou Coffee right now. I got a Campfire Mocha, and a Lemon Bread. Caribou doesn’t have the best coffee (compared to Starbucks), but they do have the best Mocha’s. I have had the Campfire Mocha which I guess starting today you can choose milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate. They also add mini marshmallows, and whip cream. Which is the picture above. I asked for a mug, since I was going to be in house. This Caribou is on Clark and Wellington in the Lakeview Neighborhood.
Pros
- Great Mocha’s
- Free Wi-Fi
- Open late
- Good music, good staff

Cons
- A little pricey
- Sometimes over crowded
- Coffee is not so good
- Not open 24 hours.. hehe
